Teaching Scripture Through Song {Review and Giveaway}

The holidays can be crazy sometimes, especially when you have children who are very active and are always busy doing something.  Now I know that some parents may shun putting a DVD on so that you can get a chance to do dishes or get supper done, but there are those days when a movie is just what I need to get a moment of sanity and get things done.



I'm not saying I put just any type of movie on, or let my children watch any kind of television they want, but I will let them watch one of their favorite music DVDs, Treasure Toons.  It is honestly one of the cutest music video DVDs out there.  Not to mention that it is kind of cute watching my youngest daughter start dancing while the music is playing.

There are six different scriptures that have been put to music created by Cassie Byram.  These scriptures include versuses from the books of Psalm, Proverbs and Isaiah.  My daughters' favorite song (and mine) is from Psalm 139:2, Wonderfully Made.

All the songs have a great message, are easily understood and the cartoons that go with the songs are very cute and easy to comprehend for children.  Plus, the songs also have a sing-a-long version, which is perfect for my daughter who is learning to read.
