Cleaning with Just Water? {Review and Giveaway}

This post is sponsored by e-cloth, but the review and opinions are purely my own.

We all want to strive to rid not only our body, but even our home, of toxic chemicals by using cleaner, more natural ways to clean.  However, being the germaphobe that I am, and growing up in a home where bleach was used to disinfect almost every room in the house, clean just isn't clean unless some type of disinfectant is used to kill those potentially harmful germs and bacteria.

Then I heard about e-cloth.  At first, I was a little skeptical.  How can a piece of fabric clean my house, especially areas that are notorious for germs and bacteria such as bathrooms and kitchens? But I was intrigued.  So I did some research and was contacted by e-cloth to do a review of their product.

E-cloth is non-toxic, as you are not using any type of sprays or chemicals on the cloth on the area to be cleaned, which also means that you are not spending money on cleaning supplies and you are not putting any chemicals in your home environment.  But what really caught my eye was that it cleans up to 99% of bacteria, including E-coli and Listeria! Basically is it the equivalent to the toxic cleaners (and even some healthier cleaners) but without the bad stuff.  Plus the bonus is that you are not spending money on cleaners and all you have to do is wash it in your washing machine when you want to clean the cloth.

After finding all of this out, I was really intrigued so I decided to try the Kitchen Pack, which comes with a green cleaning e-cloth and blue polishing e-cloth.

I decided to clean my stove which had alot of caked on greased and splattered food from cooking earlier.

Usually it takes a good scrub pad and elbow grease to get it cleaned, especially around the burners. So I used the green e-cloth and a little water to get the grime off.  And then used the blue e-cloth to polish the stove and make it shine.

I was amazed how clean it got the stove - and with no chemicals at all.

I was sold.  And so was my husband.  He was the biggest skeptic.  He didn't even realize I used a simple cloth to clean the stove until I told him.  (He even wanted to try the automotive e-cloth line.)

I can't wait for my house to finally be free of cleaners and use just e-cloths for all my cleaning needs from now on.  With all the money I'll save on buying cleaning products, I can put that money to better and more fun use - new kitchen gadgets.
