You'll Get Through This {Review and Giveaway}

This post is sponsored by Family Christian, but my review of You'll Get Through This is all my own!

We all have had our fair share of hardships in our lives at one time or another.  Whether it is divorce, illness, losing a loved one, even losing you job, we have all felt that despair, that feeling that you have reached the bottom and at that moment, you don't see how you will ever get out of the bottom of that pit.

However, there is hope.  As Max Lucado states in his book, You'll Get Through This:

You'll Get Through This discusses many of life's challenges and relates them to the story of Joseph. From getting thrown into the pit, sold into slavery and becoming someone of importance in Egypt, Joseph never forgot one thing, no matter what God was always with him.  What ever happens to him, this was his destiny and God would never leave him in the good times and more so in the bad times.

I can honestly say that I've read a lot of self help books, but no book spoke to me like You'll Get Through This did.  I wish that I had this book when I was in some of my moment's of despair.  Yes, I do know that God is with me every second of the day, but when you get to that point in life when things are at it's worst (and we have all been there), I wish I had this book to read to reiterate that no matter what, God is not going to let anything happen to me that isn't part of my destiny that he had laid out for me.

If you or someone you know is going through a tough time in life, I highly recommend this book.  It will give you (or them) hope that whatever is going on, you are not alone - you have God on your side.  Hope is something that we all cling to when things are at the worst - hope that it gets better, hope that you find a job soon, hope that your loved one gets better.  This book will show that no matter what you are going through, you will get through this.
